CYST EXCISIONS
We believe in Prevention
& Patient Education.
According to the American Cancer Society, 13,650 skin cancer deaths occur each year in America, and nearly 1 out of 5 Americans will be confronted with skin cancer during their lifetime.
Cyst excision is the surgical removal of a cyst. A cyst is a sac-like pocket of tissue that can form on the skin or inside the body. Cysts can be filled with fluid, pus, or other material. They can range in size from very small (pea-sized) to large (grapefruit-sized).
Most cysts are benign (non-cancerous), but some can be cancerous.
Cyst excision is a procedure to remove a cyst. This can be done for both benign and cancerous cysts.
Cyst Excision is an outpatient procedure that uses local anesthetic, is minimally invasive, and results in minimal scarring.
Cyst are a voluntary surgery, it is not really needed to be removed.
